Handling of Personal Information at NanoTerasu

The National Institutes for Quantum Science and Technology, the Photon Science Innovation Center, and the Japan Synchrotron Radiation Research Institute (JASRI), which manage and operate NanoTerasu, will appropriately manage personal information handled in the management and operation of NanoTerasu in accordance with the laws and regulations of Japan.

In accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (Act No. 57 of 2003), the following matters are hereby disclosed.

  • Provision of information related to the public relations of NanoTerasu
  • Improvement of the convenience of NanoTerasu

4. Measures for the Protection of Personal Information

Each institution responsible for the management and operation of NanoTerasu establishes and publicly discloses regulations related to personal information protection and appropriately manages personal information.

    Managed in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Regulations.
  • Japan Synchrotron Radiation Research Institute (JASRI)

5. Joint Use of Personal Information

The National Institutes for Quantum Science and Technology, the Photon Science Innovation Center, and the Japan Synchrotron Radiation Research Institute (JASRI) jointly use personal information within the necessary scope for the management and operation of NanoTerasu, in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

  • Affiliation
  • Address
  • Photograph
  • User ID
  • Health checkup results
  • Radiation exposure dose from the previous year
  • Inquiry details and responses
  • All other personal data except for those explicitly requested for exclusion by the individual
