School Trip Visit by Students from Kanagawa Prefectural Tama High School

On September 24, a group of 280 students from Kanagawa Prefectural Tama High School visited NanoTerasu as part of their school trip. The students toured the facility in four separate groups.

Although NanoTerasu normally accommodates up to 50 visitors per tour, we were able to welcome groups of up to 80 students at a time by carefully coordinating the introductory presentation in the Visitor Hall with tours of the experimental hall.

For the experimental hall tour, each group was further divided into smaller groups of approximately 20 students, allowing them to see NanoTerasu’s state-of-the-art equipment at close range.

This was the first time NanoTerasu had hosted such a large group of visitors. Thanks to careful advance preparation, including assigning students to groups beforehand, the tours proceeded smoothly and were completed successfully.
