Chairman Eiji Chatani of the Japan Fair Trade Commission Visits NanoTerasu

On October 16, Mr. Eiji Chatani, Chairman of the Japan Fair Trade Commission (JFTC), and his delegation visited NanoTerasu.

Upon arrival at NanoTerasu, the delegation was welcomed by Dr. Koyasu, President of the National Institutes for Quantum Science and Technology (QST), who delivered opening remarks in the NanoTerasu meeting room. Dr. Takahashi, Director General of the NanoTerasu Center, then provided an overview of NanoTerasu. This was followed by a presentation on the Coalition Use Program by Mr. Niibori, Vice President of the Photon Science Innovation Center (PhoSIC), and an exchange of views.

Following the presentations, the delegation toured the experimental hall under the guidance of Dr. Takahashi and Mr. Niibori. During the tour, they viewed several beamlines and a prototype electromagnet and received explanations about NanoTerasu’s facilities and equipment.
