Visit by Ms. Kazuko Ikuta, Director of the Policy Division, MEXT

On March 10, Ms. Kazuko Ikuta, Director of the Policy Division, Minister’s Secretariat of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), and her delegation visited NanoTerasu. They were guided by Dr. Takahashi, Director General of the QST NanoTerasu Center, Mr. Kawakami, Director of the NanoTerasu Secretariat, and Dr. Takata, President of the Photon Science Innovation Center (PhoSIC).

Following an overview presentation on NanoTerasu and an introduction to the coalition framework, the delegation toured the experimental hall. During the tour, they observed NanoTerasu’s advanced beamlines and prototype electromagnets.
