An article introducing NanoTerasu featuring the mascot character ‘Higgs-tan’ has been published
Through “Higgs-tan,” a series that has previously introduced particle physics facilities such as J-PARC (Japan Proton Accelerator Research Complex), Super-Kamiokande, the LHC (Large Hadron Collider), and IceCube (Neutrino Observatory) using original characters, an article featuring NanoTerasu has now been published.
The article uses very clear and easy-to-understand illustrations to explain the mechanism of synchrotron radiation and to introduce the facility itself. It is highly recommended for those who are new to NanoTerasu or would like to deepen their understanding of what the facility is all about.

Information Session for NanoTerasu Coalition Beamlines with Public Use
We held an “Information Session for NanoTerasu Coalition Beamlines with Public Use” at AP Nihonbashi on Tuesday, October 7.
Applications for NanoTerasu’s 2026A term of public use opened on October 8. Starting from this term, public use of the Coalition Beamlines will begin. In anticipation of this launch, the session introduced the performance and research achievements of the Coalition Beamlines.
With around 300 participants, including online attendees, the session reflected the high level of interest and expectations surrounding this new public use system.
